I don't think for a second a lot of you have never hit an inanimate object out of anger.

Maybe not a screen, but we've all hit or kicked things in frustration

But why is that? Is it because in our past humans were able to vent out that way IRL in a way we're no longer to?

I believe the poll is correct. People today just hit their loved ones instead of their TV's. TV's aren't made like bricks like they used to be, ya know?

Yeah, that's the thing, I've hit things like tables or sofa cushions, and I've thrown my controller in frustration. But I've never hit any of the things mentioned in the poll.

Then again "no game has ever made me angry enough to attack an inanimate object" is also false.

I think the poll options are bad.

it's a bad poll, limiting the target if frustration to TV/monitor, pc/console, or nothing at all.
if it had an option like: "no, but i did hit something else", then it would won the majority.
i myself slam my controller and keyboard multiple times, but those are not in the poll.

I have broken a controller, but only by accidentally hitting it with another controller.

I slammed my controller down to my side while I was on the bed. I didn't realize the other controller was there.

Never hit a console or TV tho.
