Well, it's mostly satisfying because those same females who are jealous of the male protagonist getting close with another woman.....never made moves herself or showed ANY indication that she was into him in the slightest. In fact, most of those women were cockblocking him for years....and only expressed an interest in him AFTER she saw him with another woman. Females are truly fascinating and paradoxical creatures. lol Kinda like those kids at daycare centers who only want to play with the toys they see other kids playing with. If they saw that same toy, same exact toy....sitting on a shelf away from all the other kids....they wouldn't want to play with it at all. However, we are talking about jealous anime females here. Besides, it could also be argued that this is a particularly female trait in most walks of life. Not exclusive to females, but definitely more common. Most men want women who are available. If they are single.....they have his attention immediately. But women only seem to notice a man's value when she sees him with another woman. She wants to win him over. Many psychological studies have been done on this phenomenon. Even when shown the exact same photograph of a random man.....women always found him more attractive when they were told he was married. How fucked up is that? Women want men who are wanted by others so it is more rewarding when she gets him. Like a bragging rights kinda thing. An accomplishment.
