So Earthbound is one of my favorite games and this has been on my list for a while. I'm only on the second chapter and I'm already loving the humor, story, art, and characters.

I'm dying a lot though. I'd say my combos average at 10-12 hits, but I'm playing on a touchscreen (Pixel 3 XL). Is the game really grindy? I'm at level 18 and getting 16 hit combos on the Composer boss, but he's been wrecking me when he uses "everything but the kitchen sink". I'm about to farm some beef jerky before I fight him again, but I feel like I may not be using Duster's items properly

I beat him before he could even use that attack. Lowered his defense twice and then kept putting him to sleep. Also fought the optional Knight Armor who was easy as hell. The speed shoes probably helped me a lot against the Composer

I finished chapter 3 and it was MUCH easier. Combos didn't matter much since the monkey was weak, but Fassad made up for that. And then Kumatora was OP in the end

I never really mastered the combo system and was mostly fine with the game, didn't have much issues. Though I think I mostly just beat up every single enemy I found.
