0/10 for buying DVD in 2018. You should buy Blu-ray or 4k at this point in time unless you still have an old ass CRT TV that can't do HD. And if you do still have an old ass CRT, then it's time to upgrade.

People who are serious movie watchers. Blu-ray quality is far superior in both video and audio to streaming. You might not notice the difference if you have a crappy quality TV and crappy speakers, but if you have a good theater setup, you will definitely notice the difference.

Blu-rays are anywhere from 30-50 GB in file size. Streaming downloads are like 5-10 GB. It's pretty obvious just judging by the file sizes that Blu-ray is going to have superior video and audio since streaming is so heavily compressed.

Streaming is nice for the pure convenience factor, but it will never be better that a physical disc in quality.

People that are smart with their money and don't want to totally piss it all away on digital. I would way rather have my physical video game collection that's worth thousands of $ over a bunch of systems with downloaded games on them worth nothing.

Also DVD movies are worth what .50 cents to $1 each here so I can't see prices dropping on those much more.
