Those are the only 3 that I'd ever think about getting. So which one would you get out of the 3? I really like all 3. But I always wanted a Syberian Husky. What do CE?

i dont trust german shepherds ever since i was brutally attacked and almost killed by one. also theyre cop dogs...

golden retrievers are some of the sweetest and smartest dogs out there.

and i dont have tons of experience with huskies but the few i met were nice.

retrievers and huskies shed a lot tho so just be willing to clean up after em.

all of these dogs have TONS of energy tho, and if you are not able to get them the proper exercise then dont get any of them

What is your living situation like?

The Husky and Shepherd will need to have the most space to run, not just do a lot of walking.

Huskies are very vocal do you have close neighbors?

Retrievers and Huskies will require the most grooming of the three. If this is your first dog, that will be another consideration to figure out if you have the time and attention for.

Some apartment buildings have breed restrictions; a Shepherd would be the most likely of those three to be banned somewhere.

Huskies can overheat in hot climates.

I completely understand breed loyalty; I'm in a Doberman-and-Rottweiler family, myself. I would go with a Husky if it were just a matter of daydreams, but the Retriever is probably the most feasible for most living situations because of its doofiness and familiarity.

honestly tho, instead of picking a specific breed, you should go to your local animal shelter and just pick a sweet dog who needs love

I live in the country in a brand new RV. BUT still with tons of living space and a fenced in yard. I have a decent job that I have plenty of extra cash to take care of it.

i've got along with all 3 breeds fine. i will say though that it is not a good idea to get a siberian husky if you live in the south/a hot ass place.

I know. But I actually know someone that owns a husky who lives in the same region. Somewhat south texas.

Luckily I dont have any other pets or kids nowhere near me. And I'm looking to get a lot of exercise as well

You'd be happier with a lab. They're easily trained and stay playful for their entire lives.

Shep for sure. They're very intelligent too

The lab is the easiest to train.
The shepherd could be a kick ass dog if trained and disciplined properly.
The Husky is amazing and its almost its own species, theyre majestic, derpy and fun, but they need A LOT of space, exercise and time

I might consider getting a cat too.

I nearly had my face ripped off by a husky when I was a kid, so naturally I like huskys more than any other breed of dog
