Current Events > My desktop freezes at start up occasionally, and I am not sure why. halp

My desktop is only about a year old but recently (past 2-3 months) it will freeze occasionally on startup. It will either not let me click at all when I try to sign into Windows 10, or it will let me sign in, but it will be very slow and I'll never actually load into Windows and thus have to restart.

Has anyone had any similar problems recently? I was reading online it might be due to missing a windows update, so I updated and it seemed to solve it for about 2-3 weeks, but it's back again. It's difficult to troubleshoot an issue like this through Google because I just get tons of other freezing/windows 10 locking up issues, rather than the specific one I have.

I appreciate any help anyone can provide. Note, I am not super tech savy, so bare with me.

Not really enough to go on, could be a hard drive starting to fail but could be a hundred other things also.
