No, although I think different kinds of dreams can be brought about by your current state of mind, if you ate shortly before sleeping, etc.

I've found that during increased times of struggle in my life my dreams tend to get less enjoyable. Generally dreams for me have been a good reflection of how my waking life is. For others though I suppose they just have nightmares all of the time no matter what or something.

To an extent, but I don't believe dreams can predict events or anything like that. I think they can interpret to things that are already weighing heavy on your mind, or even sitting in the back of it.

Probably. I often dream about at parties, adventures, having fun, getting girls, having a social life. etc. I've wasted most of my youth being depressed with no real friends and I always regretted working so hard without balance. In real life, I wish I had a social life and it seems my dreams reflect that.
