However, you definitely lose a lot of the effect when you yourself are making it. Partly because you become desensitized to it after staring at the same thing for hours, and partly because it's ultimately coming from your own imagination.

I read online somewhere that over 50% of people involved in Hentai production are women.

Can't remember where that it was but it was a counter argument raised when the UN was going after Hentai and Anime porn in Japan because it's Anti-Woman.

There's a great but obviously nsfw pic out there illustating how the viewer sees hentai art (dick, boobs) and how the artist sees it (tweak the foreshortening here, need to adjust the light sourcing here...).

As an illustrator of erotica myself, this is 100 percent accurate to the point that in most cases, I have to force myself to rely on the positive appraisals of my viewers over my own.

I could see it. I make music, and no matter what my vision is for the listener I always hear my songs differently than they do. It's like your mind is stuck on self criticism when it comes to your own art, good or bad
