and then i find out VITA versions are digital only meaning i won't have the space because vita memory cards

where are my fellow VITAers with their outrage

I own a Vita and am getting it on PS4 at a discount because I pre-ordered it before they fixed the pricing error

I never understood these games.

Do they have some kind of plot? The rhythm mechanics look bland as hell.

I dig persona but none of the main characters past persona 2 have been "i want a pure fanservice, no substance spinoff for these guys!!" quality

Edit: i suppose the music is good enough that if they actually had a good rhythm game system behind it, it would be neat? But that still feels like a stretch, few of the songs i can think of would be particularily interesting to play as a rhythm game. And what i've seen of the gameplay, they dont have interesting mechanics

well i can't speak for DANCING 3 and DANCING 5 but i'm expecting them to be pretty similar to DANCING 4

in which case they would have nonsense stories and serviceable but in no way remarkable gameplay

but yes it is for fanservice

and that's enough to hook me

I would pay upwards of 100 dollars for just about anything staring that cast.

Hell, for a plot-faithful remake i would pay a lot more than that

The persona with the best plot and cast by a large margin(far and away the best reason to play persona over other megaten games) will forever have super dated mechanics.

At least the fan translation of the psp port of eternal punishment is still coming along. That has at least the option to skip battle animations and drastically speed things up. Hopefully that comes out in the next year

p4d's story is pretty long and is a canon sequel to P4 and is basically very long text boxes inbetween songs

p3d and p5d's story is the same between both of them just with different characters swapped out for others and is told through social link style cutscenes you unlock by fulfilling conditions from playing songs

each character has I think 10 cutscenes although Elizabeth in p3D and the twins in P5D is the "main story"

Well p4 is garbage so that doesn't much interest me.

also don't get it for VR mode for anyone who was looking into it for that. Since I happen to have a PSVR I just decided to check it out and you can't actually play the game in VR. You just view the character model dancing in a disco room and you can dress them up and pick their accessories
