They had a promotion where they were giving double the trade in value so I figured what the heck, I'll upgrade my iPhone 7 Plus to a Note 9. I feel like I've sent my phone off into the ether and I'm just hoping for the best. And since they've received my phone last Tuesday, they've sent me an email every day saying "We've received your trade in phone, please allow up to 30 days for evaluation" which doesn't fill me with confidence in their systems.

Yeah, I shipped off my iPhone 6 Plus to them when I upgraded to my S8+ last fall.
Pretty easy process. They encourage you to hold onto your old phone so you can transfer whatever you need, but you have to ship it out to them after a certain number of days. I'm probably going to get the S10+ next year and I'll do the same thing. --- When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps. - Confucius ...
