Sony refuses to tell us what the policies are, how many there are, anything. We know at least one exists, and that since this started:

Omega Labyrinth Z was flat out refused an English release anywhere after getting an M rating or equivalent in most of the targeted countries.

Senran Kagura: Burst Renewal and Toejam and Earl were delayed to remove things in accordance with "the wishes of the platform holders". SK:BR also had received an M rating or equivalent in most targeted countries before the publishers we're informed they had to make changes to release on PS4. No idea about TJ&E but I doubt it got anything close to an M.

All Japanese games releasing on PS4 have to submit to an English inspection of some sort.

Some JP Visual Novel has added censorship on the PS4 that's absent on the Vita and Switch.

Seems to have affected another VN called Nekopara but I've heard little about that.

And yeah, despite being asked multiple times Sony refuses to actually tell gamers what the policy is, instead telling them to ask third party devs/publishers.

To be fair, very few companies make business policies public.

It is. This policy seems to be specifically about the PS4. Of course this IS Sony. They likely forgot the Vita is one of their platforms when making the mystery policy.

Toejam and Earl? What the fuck?

No one knows why for reasons I previously mentioned. Sony refers all questions in the policy to 3rd parties who seem incapable of going into detail on it themselves. I'm starting to wonder if it's an actual, defined policy at all or just ultimatums made up on the spot. :/

I heard they also were behind JFK. I would totally believe that.

Most likely their censorship policy was added after they decided to stop supporting the Vita.
Their policy on the Vita is most likely Do anything you want as long as it is below AO rating and give us our license money!.

Unless Sony censored it more, the Switch version has the "family friendly" version. So eh.

I also just heard Warriors Orochi 4 is censored on PS4. No boob jiggle.

They did. Huge white lines covering most of the female character's body at any remotely suggestive instance, apparently.

That seems to be a glitch with the framerate. Set it to 30 and they jiggle. Set it to 60 and they don't.

its absent on the vita version because the vita version came out a few years ago before this new policy was in place.

It's not Nekopara. There's another, separate VN that got hit. Here we go.
