I literally don't know anyone personally that hates Apu, and neither did I. He just has a funny accent, and runs a convenience store, and does well to serve the community despite his character being born from India.
"But he's voiced by a white guy," you say. True. So? It's a voice actor's job to act the role, and he's doing it. People can make up their own fake accent, or incorporate accents to sound a character. Look at Mario. Do you know what Apu and Mario have in common? They both have a goofy voice, fake accent, and the voice actor is not of ethnic origin. Did you also know that black people can voice white people, and vice versa? It's a talent called voice acting; it's their job to voice the characters.
I think the only people who have any kind of hate for Apu are either Indians who might have been bullied and called "Apu" by Americans, or Americans that are racist. I honestly can't see any other reason, unless you think you're doing the service of an SJW where it's clearly not needed.

Was there any controversy before that garbage? I don't think any Indian American who watches the Simpsons would actively hate Apu. And to those who don't watch it, why should they care? They're just using Apu as a scapegoat; that getting rid of him from the show would somehow magically stop people from offending them. I don't get it.

I'm pretty sure the controversy began with that guy who created the documentary. He's the one who claims that The Simpsons writers told him they were removing Apu from the show.

Removing Abu isn't a sjw issue, it's a fascism issue. All characters in a story either fit a stereotype and/or break it. That is the nature of literature. If you remove one character, you might as well remove them all and then we are book burning again.

Also, do you think they are going after the Simpsons because it's easier? I haven't heard anything about them going after South Park. Though, if they did, I don't think the writers would care much... Which I like...

Yes...

Simpsons is a relic from the 1990s, a time when SJW activity was practically non-existent, and edge-humour was freely expressed.

Now that the show is still going on after 30 years, still holding on to the type of humour and writing style that made it popular in the first place, it's become an easy target for the SJWs to point out all the "You can't do that anymore cuz muh identity politics" moments.

Sooner or later, these SJW will start targeting libraries and museums and holding book burning sessions in the parking lot. They already get a kick out of pulling down statues of historical people; despite being the founders of a town/city/state/country, but apparently owning a slave negates all that.

If they removed every character in the show that was a stereotype they'd be left with Principal Skinner and Lenny.

Even Skinner's a stereotype. Just not a racial one.

And you could make the argument for Lenny, as well. He and Carl are both are stereotypical blue-collars.

Give it enough time and even Homer Simpson will be removed from the show, because he triggers fat people because his character encourages "fat-shaming" or some shit.

So when can we start shaming, flaming, or dispersing those idiotic SJW's? If everything is fair game then so are they and trust me I'll do a lot more damage to them than they could me. It's not like they could clutter my social media because it doesn't exist.
