Good!!! That's awesome news, my guy. A few things I'd like to suggest to you.

1. Give it time. These people aren't magic. It takes a while to sort through and start working on years of information and experiences.

2. Not every therapist is a good fit for you. Some are more result focused, some are more about emotive feeling, they're still humans and their personalities and mindsets do affect how they work. If you feel the need to switch after a couple of months, do it.

3. For the love of Gawwwd, if nothing else, please do not get referred and medicated without extensive sessions and time. Nothing fucks you up even more than a chemical imbalance in the brain.

I know I like her, and that's the main reason why I approached her to begin with, but it's not like it would be a good idea. For one, in the two hours that we spent talking, she was mostly the one carrying the conversation, and by the last twenty minutes, we had already run out of things to say. I already told her about my history, my college courses, why I don't like to eat out, how I'm not a sports fan, my dreams and ambitions, my desire to not go to graduate school even though people keep asking me if I am going, and the math that I explained to her sometimes. This was pretty much all that I had to talk about in general. I think that if I went on some date with her, she wouldn't have any fun and neither would I, since I wouldn't be able to fill the silence with anything, having almost no social skills whatsoever.

Have you heard others have conversations? I'd say 99% of the time most folk just talk about random shit. I actually prefer that myself as apposed to talking about mundane things like day to day life.

Really? Say folk talk about their work or school. Most of it is boring. Talking about the universe and your favourite planet would be much more interesting. That's just a example. If you prefer to listen though then just ask her questions about her, what she's likes to do and so on. Some folk love to talk about themselves a lot.

I think she's told me a lot about herself, already, and I reciprocated the gesture. This was actually the longest conversation I've had with someone I'm not related to in my entire life.
