Drag Queen Storytime is part of a national program which states its aim is to promote love and acceptance. However, not everyone sees it that way. Chris Sevier is among a group of people who filed a lawsuit to stop Drag Queen Storytime in Houston. The suit was filed Friday and names Mayor Sylvester Turner as well as the library. Our objection is not against the LGBTQ community, Sevier said. It is against the librarys actions. Sevier claims the story hour is unconstitutional and violates the First Amendments Establishment Clause, which forbids the government from establishing an official religion and prohibits it from favoring one religion over another. We dont want the library partnering with these non-secular entities promoting their agenda. I actually started because I knew of Bob the Drag Queen and found out she was the winner of season eight. I'm determined to watch it in order because early seasons are kind of unwatchable after the improved production of later seasons. The problem with the later seasons is that the show gets super derivative and less about the drag than the drama. AS3 and Season 10 have really tried my patience in that regard. I'm determined to watch it in order because early seasons are kind of unwatchable after the improved production of later seasons. The problem with the later seasons is that the show gets super derivative and less about the drag than the drama. AS3 and Season 10 have really tried my patience in that regard.
