all the for nothing.

Maybe you shouldn't ask your interviewers if they've seen any friends die

so you'd rather have no job than a temporary job while you look for something better?

The military base didnt offer me anything. And if they did, I would have been a dead man walking. I cant be trusted with secrets like those. They make weapons that kill people.

yeah, in this situation. I would just feel unmotivated to go, I live with my parents so I dont need to pay rent.

I would rather just keep looking than drive an hour commute to be a bug tester for 15 bucks an hour just to quit as soon as I can

Why did you do the interview in the first place?

Why should anyone hire you for a "better" job if that is your attitude? You don't sound like a hard working or dedicated person.

Because I wanted to work my way up to be a developer at the company. They only told me at the very end that I shouldnt take the job if I want to be a developer and how I cant apply for a dev position until I work there for 8 months and that I would have to start at 15 dollars an hour even after the year and how they wouldnt treat my application any different than an outsider etc

I took a job over an hour from my house for only $16.50 an hour when I started out in my current career field. You gotta start somewhere just to build up experience. And at least around here I thought that was decent pay for someone with no real experience yet.

I mean its more complicated than that.

the guy basically said not to take the job if I planned to leave after a month because it would be a waste of their training

anyway, what does it matter what my attitude is. Dont show your full hand to an employer.

Jesus christ talk about nerve wrecking. Sounds like a terrible place to work, if you have to work that hard just to get the job imagine what you'll have to do on the job? Now I understand why people don't mind flipping patties on a grill for minimum wage.

they also emailed my former professors
>_>

I think its fine I guess. A lot of tech companies have a really long interview process.

The technical questions they asked me were easy-ish

They asked me to code minCoin, a mars rover, and to QA test a bunch of stupid shit. I got everything right, Im pretty sure.

I think they told me I scored at the top of the applicants.

Which is funny because I dont know anything about being a QA

In the future, let your goal be known from the beginning. You'll save time.
