He told detectives where her body is in a wooded area in Kalamazoo County where he buried 32 y/o Venus Stewart and said he left 2 stumps at the site as a "landmark". He told them "I knew i couldn't forget where she was" He was also allowed to participate in some prison programs under the deal. He was living in Virginia when his wife disappeared in April 2010 from her parents home in Michigan. Dateline interviewed her parents after the disappearance as her father says he called 911 to say her kids, her car and her personal efects were all still in their house but Venus disappeared. She moved after accusing her ex husband of domestic violence and molesting their daughter. Doug has maintained his "innocence" until his sister reconciled with the Venus Family and now he says he wants to make amends and ADMITS he murdered her and will tell police where her body is..but in exchange he wanted his FAVOURITE gaming company console Tests are being conducted to prove it's of Venus as police are confident it is after Doug was convicted of first degree murder in 2011 where it was based largely on testimony of his best friend, Ricky Spencer whom he met Doug on XBOX 360 Online Live.
