I sleep on 2 because I sleep sideways most of the time. If I use only one, my head would be tilted towards the ground and wont be level.

Sort of 4?

I have two that lay across the head of the bed and overlap a little bit. I usually sleep on my side and lay my head on the overlap part. Then I have another that I put under my chin and have my arms around. Then there's a fourth pillow that I use for leg support by holding it between my knees.

i have one pillow under head, one pillow behind me and one that i spoon-hug (i sleep on my side) so im kinda like the middle of a 3 person spoon
