PAL PSN has sales on both the original game and 2nd, going to have enough money for one of them. The first one is a slight bit cheaper at NZ$18.23 compared to NZ$20.23, and isn't flooded with DLCs (3 DLCs versus 106 DLCs, we actually have more DLCs than the US versions at 2 and 99), but I'm not sure how much content each game has regularly. Are they pretty even for base content, or is one far ahead of the other?

I did. It was quite a while ago though and I don't have a habit of buying DLC. Both games had an extensive collection of songs on disc. Not sure on the count. Aren't the DLC's mostly costumes though? That also sounds a bit pricey for an older game but maybe that's due to exchange rate.

Good old NZ prices. Regional price increases can be common.

Just browse a few. Modules mean outfits. Actual songs may even be locked to the JP store, I forget. Licensing sucks.

Any luck finding disc copies? PS3 stuff should be fairly inexpensive. They are good games in case you haven't tried them before.

Local was PSN only. I could potentially find an import copy, but that only increases the prices.

I want to say they are both equally in content in the song. the newer one has Tomochichi gameplay. like unlock more cloths and change her room and play with her to make happy. oh give her presents. (but then again I think I'm getting that game confused with Diva F 2nd project. ) All I know is I played them all.

in song content they are about the same. The one that has the most content is the one Future Tone and Colorful Tone for ps4. But I think they stole everything from the arcade.

I played the 2 on PS3. The PS4 version is on my backlog and I'm holding out hope that we get a translated version of Future Tone on disc. JP/Asia got a physical version with limited English.

Yeah that's more of a side game if you want to collect things.
