Couple weeks ago I filled out a form on student.gov for loan replayment options and since then ive gotten about 5 calls from scammers saying they are student loan people calling about an update on my application.

I know they are a scam because I googled the number and multiple people had the exact same person call and give the exact same reference number for them.

This shit is creepy. Do you think maybe they have minimal access to my student.gov account to know when to call me?

I dont ever get anything from scammers, unless you count sales people. Its a shame, Id love to social engineer them.

Lately they try to trick me by spoofing numbers from my area code. One of the numbers used to belong to a friends grandfather that died a few years ago.

Im even on the DNC list but I think they probably just sell that info now.

1. Switch the radio off, if its not already so.
2. Turn the volume dial to max and put on your earplugs.
3. Answer the call and put mouthpiece beside radio speaker.
4. Switch radio on.
5. Giggle insensibly.
