Part 1 is really weak, and the powers can be bullshit and inconsistent sometimes, but the creative way that they use it, and the flow of battle is what make the series interesting. Part 2, 4 and onwards are great.

1 and 3 is a bit weak because author is still figuring out the flow.

To answer your questions, no it really dont change, but later on, it has alot more polish i guess
