Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I could have sworn Jeff usually always gives the survivors hell when they need to ask them for more food since they always already have enough if rationed properly.

How? Personality is a major part of separating a gamebot from a non-gamebot. Angelina is an arrogant lunatic, and as such, her saying something is inherently less gamebotty than a rational player like Nick, who sucks and completely lacks personality.

I find the strategy entertaining. I'm a rational person and I relate to rational people and try to put myself in their shoes and the scenarios and the reaction to said scenarios is what is entertaining.

Christian is like Coach or Yau-Man or Richard. He's just naturally goofy. Plus, the thing that normally irritates me about his archetype is people like Ryan U. or Cochran, where so much of their goofiness comes in the form of obnoxious self-deprecation that plays them up as a LOSER rather than just a NERD.

Based off our interactions in these topics, do you think you would enjoy watching me on Survivor? I sure as hell think I'd be annoying as FUCK on Survivor, and I don't like watching "relatable" versions of myself on the show in the form of your standard nerd.

I very much want to be on the show so the characters being relatable is very important to me because I want to be in that person's shoes. And while the nerd is only half of my archetype it is one of those things I look at. Especially, when the nerd has a success story like a Cochran. Lately, I feel more like Jeremy.

I love Christian. He's just very obviously naturally like this, and he's an extremely nice guy to boot. Like every time he brings up his random-ass metaphors, it doesn't feel like a desperate ploy for airtime and interesting narratives, it's literally the way the world looks in his head. A very complex character too, I loved that little scene of him of all people comforting Alison.

And obviously, this season continues to be incredible. I just needed something, anything, to revitalize my love for Survivor after all the duds lately, and I just can't believe no episode has felt like a throwaway. I love how they're editing the boots and masking them, switching between the obvious boot being the actual boot or the decoy.

i kind of wish they played up carl's comeuppance as "this is definitely gonna happen" instead of going for the classic "will he-won't he" with mike, which was never gonna happen anyway

i actually think christian made the correct move to boot carl because the writing was on the wall with the core david alliance imho.

on the other hand, i think he articulated well why keeping alec would have been great for his game, and i think he needed to try to find a way to keep him around in the first hour

Yeah, getting rid of Carl actually helps Christian, I think. He's not expendable now, whereas if the Davids were up 5-3, they could shed him and still be ahead. It's just a matter of smoothing things over with Nick and Davie, which I think he can do.

I have a feeling that theres going to be a break with Gabby and Christian coming soon, and that Gabby will be the villain. There was a lot of edit tonight where her emotions were overflowing. Not the crying. Her frustrations with Carl, her high five getting rid of him, all the godfather and game change talk. Feels like shes going to burn bright soon, for better or worse.

I was getting flashbacks to Ken Hoang's power trip after he was no longer the underdog, and the Peih-Gee/Jaime throw victory. I dont know where Christian falls in this, whether he has to slay Gabby, or he realizes too late and gets taken out, or they both make the end and we're seeing why Gabby lost/won.
