Heaps of research over cops actions and investigations into cops behavior on scene has shown that on average cops are more hesitant and leinent towards minorities in crimes or calls involving violence or suspected violence.

If someone is calling up the police saying you're trying to start a fight, statistically you're safer if you're black or Chinese, especially if you're female.
