Toukiden can be fun, but I didn't find it as good as FW or MH. God Eater series is my personal favorite of the genre, but MH is probably objectively better

I've heard of both of those series. Just haven't really had much insight into them.

I guess I'm just looking for good co-op and smooth gameplay that doesn't become stale.

Because Witcher 3, while a good game, isn't in the monster hunting genre. It's a WRPG.
