As for a more seriousness note, I'm less inclined to vote for Chris based on town/human interchangeability and more likely to do it because he claimed Miller, how often has b8 been using miller's lately?

For the first 4 pages there has been a lot of activity and it's all very confusing and there are way too many claims.

I don't think there is much to hash out there really. If anything i'm surprised that Scare didn't get me for not immediately coming into this game and voting Plum based on the past two games and me pretty much saying he's an auto lynch.

Either way, i've got a big morning ahead of me, will give a more serious read to the first 3 pages in a bit.

Han, I don't feel good about this being your first post of the game and then you peacing out.

But more importantly, if you have an opinion on FD then you must have read through all of the first 3 pages and the bickering over Human/Town, etc. What is your opinion on the matter? Does saying "Town" instead of "Human" make you feel like someone has definitely slipped or do you think that its just human nature to refer to town as town regardless of host flavor/meta/shits

Okay, gut tells me Ben is town and I think Scare is too. Mostly because of my feelings this morning when I was thinking about who I would recruit first because I thought I was third party and hadn't woken up properly. They also both had similar thought processes to mine when I properly read just now, after clearing stuff up. Also, Scare was one of those who mentioned cult, if I'm correct. That leads me nicely into the explanation of me thinking I was an indy and wondering who to recruit: cult in this game is town. Also known as Humans. We're a cult and up against the monsters (scum) who've invaded. I know this because I thought I was given the role "cult leader" with non-typical cultist abilities for balance, which, at first, I panicked at, thinking I was third party since there was no scumboard. Fortunately, it turned out that it was just God's flavoury name for my (town) role and I hadn't read wincon properly. Sorry if this reads confusingly, I'm still a little confused myself. Just wanted to clear up as much flavour meta as possible as soon as possible. Just all read your role PMs again before starting a bloody witch-hunt because of my role name, it'll hopefully make more sense.

Anyway, more flavour meta and hopefully it for now: Corrik's claim matches with my flavour. I buy it. No need to say more on that claim because I'm sure we all know Corrik at this point. Chris' explanation of his claim also makes sense to me, even if I'm naturally suspicious of Miller claims. The town/human issue is not concrete, because I didn't notice humans in my PM at first either. Of course, I would expect the scum board have all the flavour info by now but it just means that the claims don't have to be from scum who were poorly informed.

Ok, so i've been reading and re-reading this post and then thinking on how FD is super serious about begin given credit for the Chris catch with town/human thing. And i'm not seeing how FD even remotely comes close to Scares attack.

Not only does FD not mention the human/town thing. He refers to Chris's flavor (which would be Sam Winchester) and he refers to his own flavor "AS TOWN".

So really its like FD is throwing shade at Chris while making the same faux pas

This directly contradicts his explanation of his usual play style as town does not fit this confidence in his reads where he flops around lacking confidence.

I like confidence but the change in play is concerning slightly for me.

At the same time I do like his reads though.

Though i am interested in why scare had me on the list of day checks specifically.

More posts than usual but none feel useful which is not a good sign. and as others have mentioned him attempting to take credit for "catching" Chris does not give me good vibes. When I see scum trying to claim credit for a potentially important catch, it's often to look as though they've been helpful. FD definitely falls in the category of those who'd benefit from that, since he doesn't post particularly regularly and is often pressed due to inactivity.

I'm usually moderately confident, Neab, just need something to really pull me into it which still hasn't happened. I'd also like to note that I still had few reads there, the only ones were on Scare and Ben which I do admittedly feel better about than my normal D1 reads. Feel however you want about the change in play, you can't expect someone to be exactly the same as the same alignment every time, there's so many other factors in a game.

No I did not specifically say "but mah Humans omg!", but I did say (paraphrased) "this is wrong and doesn't match", and what specifically did not match was him claiming a human as miller. It conflicted with my knowledge that town consisted of Humans and therefore the threats-to-humans were logically not human themselves.

I didn't spell everything out because I wasn't expecting chris to not post again for awhile and thought there would be a prompt response.

Oh no, I enjoy the new confidence you are exhibiting it just goes against what you told me roughly. But every game is different, i like sitting back d1 but I sometimes do not.

In either case I like your reads as I agree so far at least.

FD is kinda in the meh to me, but is what it is. His thing about credit was weird I think giving everything.

Do you have any reads you feel strongly about aside from those you agree with me on, yet?

I think it's less important whether we saw that we were humans, and more important that God did not call the roles "TOWN ____" Because even scum would have "Destroy all humans" as the win condition

And what I specifically said was "If chris is scum, I want credit". Because my IMMEDIATE reaction to chris' post was to say "this is not right". And I can't imagine there would be any possible reason for me to have done that if chris and I were scum teammates. I recognize that it's possible chris is town and he just screwed up, in which case no credit is deserved.

And since I am town/human/goodguys/paragon/etc it is my duty to do a few things, chiefly among them is:

(A) Find and lynch scum to win the game
and also important
(B) Not get lynched because I know I'm a good guy and that would be bad and counterproductive to (A).

And so if I make a post abut chris' claim, and if my reasoning for that post was the same exact reasons that Scare spelled out, and if it was actually a valid "catch" and chris is scum, then you're damn right I want credit. Because that is a very strong indication to everyone that I am town and as such will help me not be lynched and give me more time to find and lynch other scum.

The fact that several different people are focusing on this is not giving me good vibes and makes it feel like a concerted effort to target something they see as a mislynch opportunity.

I just feel like your post does not allude to any of that. However i do understand what you are trying to explain currently.

If Sam Winchester is a HUMAN how can he possibly be a MILLER, but then Chris mentioned that guy was possessd by Satan? (no idea i dont know the character or source material) so i guess that all makes more sense then ya?
