I don't understand how this linking to groups thing became so popular. Like do people really waste that much time creating all these thousands of groups just so they can troll people with them later? When did this actually happen? >_>

Like usually it's to troll.
One time I posted about how I don't advocate complete censorship, and one of my friends linked to a random group about right fascism. Like, groups with the most innocuous names seem to appear out of nowhere, and have like 20,000 members each time. It's weird. --- The first 2 forms of Cell flaunted his tail, like he's Ron Jeremy.
