I don't understand why this is a big deal. Obviously she believed she was part NA because that's what her parents told her. She didn't know her percentage because she probably can't trace it to the Dawes Act. Who knows what motive she had for switching her stated race on applications. Could be benign for all we know.

I apparently have African descent in my family... I do not claim to say I am 'black' because it is such a minuscule amount.

I am 8% and would never think of calling myself black. Warren is less than a percent which is how much Nordic I am and that literally has nothing to do with my life and no one in my family history has any idea. Yet she is literally saying with that little of a percentage she has different facial features, is part of a tribe, writes a cook book and has tried to use it to get oppression points.

And people defend this.

She should never have claimed Native American Heritage but she never used that claim to get special privlages. Those are debunked claims. This is about the Right using that as the only thing against her because otherwise she's squeaky clean.

This isn't some scholarly debate. There's not some unwritten rule that you need to cite sources to say something on a video game message board. Holy cow, just google it if you care that much. I mean the fact that you could easily find this stuff for yourself, but you demand others provide it to you instead, says quite a bit.

It's quite something that President "I paid off pornstars and committed tax fraud" Trump is eviscerating someone for being honest and answering his dare. And people are defending him.
