I believe there's a rule about not baiting people into posting moddable material, which is all they are.

First of all, most of the "confessions" are people pretending to be moderators accusing themselves of having tiny dicks when really they just have tiny dicks while not being moderators.

Secondly, a whole bunch of them admit to illegal activities, which is against the rules.

Furthermore, there have been multiple incidents where people who ran those topics secretly kept track of who confessed what and used that shit to start drama later on down the line.

There's no rule against them, they invoke the Moderator Discretion rule. With that being said, most confession topics end up just being a contest to see who can get the person running the topic modded.

I wish there was an anonymous confessional topic so I could submit this in private: I developed a crush on a stranger I briefly met today... I barely said anything to him, and I'll probably never see him again. It sucks. :c

Confession topic: Closed within 5 mins
Some dude spamming hentai in every topic: Lasts about 45 mins to an hour...

They're not expressly moderated as in being punished. Their account is set to Blocked, until they are deemed okay to revisit the Boards, and they're given resources to seek help, afaik. This is honestly the best outcome for people who actually need the help because the Boards are full of cancerous shitposters who might egg them on to do it, and it's not like CBSi is willing to risk any liability by such a thing happening and them doing nothing to prevent anything.
