I very rarely get into Internet arguments anymore. It's just a waste of time. Arguing with people only cements them in their opposing views.

At most I'll offer up what I know on a subject and if someone has an issue with it that's just their problem. I'm ok with leaving it at that.

At the peak of any argument I tell the other person they clearly aren't worth my time and I stop replying.

I've too much pride to get into a serious argument online unless it's one I know I can 100% factually win. They tend to be very petty ones and tend to revolve around semantics, but I'll take what I can get.

For the record, I don't browse this board because it is a fast-moving random general board and I could risk getting more distracted than usual.

Most of my arguing is done on a movies board. I don't like it when someone on the "same side" as me, or an enemy of my enemy, makes a lousy specific talking point that I know to avoid making because of how lousy it is.
