I kinda want one but I'm not sure if it's really worth it since I only care about 2-3 games on it

It depends on the games you want to play. I've found enough to make my Vita useful and sometimes the Plus games are fun to play as well.

Most of the worthwhile games on the Vita are on Steam, so probably not. A year or two ago I would have recommended getting a PSTV since they were dirt cheap, but they've become scarce now.

It worth it. There are huge library of Japanese games, especially JRPG and visual novels.

PSTV is nice in theory, but as someone that had one before a Vita, I'd suggest not getting one. Not all Vita games work on the PSTV and it got old having to check before playing any game if it runs on PStv or not.

Pretty much every game that came out after the PSTV was compatible with it, as well as most of the ones before. The only major exceptions were games with heavy reliance on touch controls and some games that had simultaneous PS4 releases (like World of Final Fantasy).

Yeah... the PS1 and PSP games make it worthwhile. There are some cool games made for the Vita, like Soul Sacrifice and UMvC3, which are fun.

It's so fucking stupid that Sony discontinued this in the US almost 3 years ago yet games are still coming out.

My touchpad broke and I've wanted a replacement for years but they go for over MSRP from third parties. Sony could easily release a budget $80 model by now. Fucking total abandonment.

Most of the best JPRGs made in the last four or five years. If that's not your genre, pretty skippable.

Its worth it as a PS classic machine. You can get dozens of great PS1 games for $5-10. Some of it is very rare in physical form. I think there are a few PS2 ports, too. I know it has Final Fantasy X/X2.

The memory cards are still ludicrously expensive, too.

The dealbreaker for me is no easy and obvious way to connect it to a TV like I can with my PSP. I vaguely remember researching how and apparently you can with the Playstation TV but not all games are supported.
