Bunny Girl episode 3 was great. This might actually become my favorite of the year if this quality keeps up, and it takes a lot for me to even consider ranking something ahead of AICO.

Wow, the second arc of Overlord S3 is so bad. I actually got up to this point in the LNs and dropped it since I was bored, but I was hoping the anime version would be better. Guess not though. Everything here feels totally pointless. Maybe I should've just skipped it in the anime version.

It's much less pretentious and fanservice-y than Monogatari so far, if that means everything. In terms of target audience I'd say it's closer to a KEY anime than to Monogatari, though I don't think you cared much for those either.

Not bothering to watch it anymore but apparently the animation quality of the sister show is worse than hentai

Thoughts on Week 2.

Zombieland Saga had the best episode of the week. The comedy and acting are just so right on the money. It's around where Hinamatsuri was when it was airing, but I think Zombieland Saga has a higher ceiling. I mean, I was even more amazed by this one than what happened in the first episode.

Bunny Girl also had a very strong episode. In terms of just overall quality, this is the best show of the season as it's strong in every category right now. It feels like Monogatari but presented in a less "annoying" way if you want to call it that. The dialogue is amazing and the timing is just as good. Also has senses of Charlotte in it too. Right now any show I can really compare this too has ended up at least good.

IRODUKU had a decent episode, but one I find to be weaker overall than the first. This is basically where I worry about the overall character writing to see how interesting and consistent characters can be.

SAO Alice's episode was pretty good. I don't mind kirito like discovering his strength or using preknowledge of things in the new world etc. Him being strong was never really the issue. It's more him being strong solved everyone's problems despite everyone he's helped also being strong until the very moment Kirito had to save them type deal.

Miss Beezlebub is the cute soul cleanse of the season.

Karakurai Circus is pretty decent, but didn't leave too much of a lasting impression other than the dude who has to make people laugh is awesome.

Merc Storia seems to be a pretty generic adventure story (based on a game of some sort). But was executed well enough.

Ulysses probably needs more fan service if it wants to survive.

THE DROPS

I'm not going to wait around for gridman to get terrible or magically become good. I already had a lot of issues with the first episode and even though I am curious to what happens next, not enough to keep this on a 20+ show watch list.

Release the Spyce is just a little too "eh" overall. I want to say too dumb, but that's not really the right word because the fishing in space show is still in.

Run with the Wind is just so boring.

New siscest anime is just a bad eromanga sensei and that was also a bad show. I'm not even going to continue watching to see why it's bad exactly. For the record, eromanga was bad mainly because the girls in the show don't really interact with each other until much later in the series. The interaction of the harem in oreimo was like the best part of that show.

Conception was just dumb. Like when they were explaining the world I was like "wait is this based on a game?"

Two more airing anime started

Iroduku looks like it's going to be my kind of thing. Blending magic and reality like this is doing is great, and I like the main girl and all of the side characters a fair bit. It has neat visuals, a unique setting, and it looks like the focus will be on the main girl discovering herself. All of those things are good and I'm excited to see where it goes.

Karakuri Circus also looks like it'll be good. Puppet-on-puppet combat looks like it could get really cool, and I like all of the characters so far, especially Shirogane.

It seems like everyone who has tried it likes Zombieland though. There are a few cruddy shows so far this season but there have also been a surprising amount of winners. I think this might wing up being the best season of the year.

All these anime services add up to being pretty high. I can see why people pirate if they want to watch everything otherwise its probably like $40 a month just for anime XD

I just hope they give fair warning before anything gets pulled off of Crunchyroll in the future, whenever that starts to happen.
