we went from "just the facts," to "our feelings about the facts," to "our feelings supercede the facts."

at first I thought it was funny when a celebrity would occasionally come under fire for a Tweet. then Twitter became an actual source for major media outlets.

It's fine. Social media is how many of us communicate in 2018 so it would only make sense that it would be used as source in 2018.

it's such an easy tool to manipulate the masses, and major media has been doing that since the printing press, lol.

I can't remember the percentage of people who get their news primarily from social media, but I remember it exceeding the already exaggerated number that I had made up lmao.
