Mohamed Jama, 20, ran off laughing after knifing Mohammed Hassan, 22, who had just left Friday prayers at his mosque. The 22-year-old bakery worker was left to die on a grass verge, a court heard. A young man has been found guilty of murder for stabbing to death a newlywed he thought had mugged his brother. Vengeful Mohamed Jama, 20, ran off laughing after knifing his victim, a 'popular and polite' bakery worker who had just left Friday prayers at his mosque in Oldham, Manchester. On their fifth day of deliberations, today (Wednesday) a jury unanimously found Jama guilty of murder following a four-week trial at Manchester Crown Court. Today, Manchester Crown Court unanimously found Jama guilty of the violent murder after a four-week trial. And a third defendant, Sadik Djama, 23, was also acquitted of murder and manslaughter charges. The court heard the trio went to Oldham, Greater Manchester, on March 9 on a revenge mission for the robbery on Musa Jama the day previous. Mohammed Nabeel 'Belo' Hassan who was stabbed to death as he walked home from saying prayers at his local mosque in O Mohammed Nabeel Hassan who was described as humble and very energetic Witnesses said they saw Jama carrying a pretty large knife, and that he was acting tough while carrying a large knife. Guy Gozem QC, prosecuting, said Jama was pointing at groups of Asian males, and asked his brother is that them? After spotting a car containing someone he believed may have been responsible, Jama ran after it while the other two held back. When he returned, Jama said: What did you come for? Dont be pussies. The killer then confronted Mr Hassan and attacked him with the blade, before washing blood off his hands at Oldham Library. The brothers, both from Oldham, and Mr Djama, of Longsight, Manchester, pleaded not guilty to murder. Paying tribute to Mr Hassan at the time of his death, his close friend Mohammed Jaz, 23, said: He had been to pray and was going home, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was a normal 22-year-old, it could have been anyone. He was a nice, well-spoken lad, into football and very sociable. He was humble and very energetic. He got married recently and is from a hard-working family. It is upsetting. It is a really close community here. There are lot of races but it is very open, when it was snowing last week we all came together to help each other. In the US it's only certain hotspots and certain demographics that have been raised to oppose the police. In the UK it's across the entire country.
