Yea I'm thinking PS1 era boost may happen due to the severe negative social trends that haven popped up in recent years.(Culture war, politicization of everything, Trump, #metoo)

Spyro is a product of that more happy time(1990s), he's an embodiment of it. That's the argument for picking him.

I see there is a problem with your argument.

I am leaning Spyro too and I hope he wins. Just go with your gut on this one. The board majority has been wrong before. Remember magus vs knuckles? If you were around at the time, anyone vocal about picking Knuckles to win that one was quickly crowned village idiot by the board 8 masses. Now, is the board 8 majority usually right about these things more times than not? Of course. But this could be one of the few times they are wrong. We shall see.
