The first is that he identifies strongly with Michael, and finds the fact that we are supposed to laugh at him to be a personal attack. The second is that he identifies strongly with Toby.

I actually thought it was funnier with Andy as the boss than with any of the other replacement bosses. The others seemed too sedate. Obviously the show was never the same after Michael left. ... The show was the best with Michael, but it didnt ever really go downhill for me too much. I hated what they did with some of the characters and there are a couple episodes later on that I legitimately hate, but I still pretty much love every season.
They ruined Andy though and that makes me sad ... Copied to Clipboard!
