Has anyone ever tried it?

I was in my local smoke shop and they had a display selling it in powder and pill form.

It is a drug containing alkaloids which target opiate receptors. People like to say it helps with this and that but in reality most people take it for recreation.

Don't buy it from smoke shops/head shops because they are known to add shit or sell old and cheap quality product. I tried kratom and it was nice at first but then just gave me headaches. It's also illegal in like seven states.

Ok. So people are either trading it for another addiction or just trying a new way of getting high.

The packaging reminded me of the energy pills that you see in gas stations.

It's not like Spice, it's a leaf from a plant in the coffee family and has been used as a natural analgesic in southeast Asia. This is why people claim it is perfectly safe, but there isn't much research behind it. I guess if it's good for one thing it helps people recover from opiate addiction.

Last year 28 people got salmonella poisoning from contaminated kratom. The FDA has issued 19 recalls of kratom products since March of this year because of salmonella.

Yep, that's how it works.

It grows in nature? Put as much in your product as you want and we will not even test it clinically.
It was made in a factory? We will thoroughly test it and tell you the maximum amount you may put in your product.

Guess which people are more afraid of...

Mmmmm salmonella, now I really want to try it.

Ha. I just saw that its S1 which means there won't be any real research on it anyway.
