The new billboards, a project from pro-life group Radiance Foundation reading abortion is systemic racism, abortion is violence, abortion is lost fatherhood and abortion is fake feminism are in response to pro-abortion billboards from Preterm, an Ohio abortion organization. Its slew of billboard phrases include abortion is sacred, abortion is life saving and abortion is a second chance, among others.

The argument is that abortion targets lower-income families, and a large proportion of minorities tend to be lower-income. Stronger support for abortion based on income leads to higher levels of abortions by minorities.

You know what else disincentivizes (this is the word you actually wanted) people getting out of poverty? Unwanted children. They're expensive.

agreed that they are expensive. but why would having children make you less interested in getting out of poverty? I'm pro-choice btw.

Even if they were more interested than ever, the difficulty in escaping poverty will only increase, so unless their desire to escape is greater than the new difficulty in escaping they will be even less likely to escape than they were before. But in reality most people are demotivated as a challenge increases in difficulty. The type of person who responds to challenges by trying even harder is likely to have escaped poverty on their own, but that isn't most people.

Nah, it's an old tactic the right uses. It's the "No you are the real racist" projection plan right out of their playbook. They also use Margaret Sanger's controversial views to paint Planned Parenthood with a wide brush as evil.

For instance, Sanger really wanted to help black people have less kids and went out of her way to solve them having more kids.
