I want to suggest Kinesis only, but I think it takes a while to unlock that in the first game, and some bits might be difficult / impossible due to lack of items.

Not much comes to mind besides limiting to certain weapons being used. Maybe not using nodes or upgrading your suit?

Every time a creature jumps out of a vent, you have to take a shot of whiskey.
