This mouse got stuck on the trap and pulled off most of its skin and tail but managed to get off and run away. Pretty sad to think about it but I do hate mice.

i use em at work but one of the workers collects the mice and kills them by hitting them on the head before desposing of them in a garbage can specifically for rats that we keep outside. i find it distasteful but we do try and be as humane as possible

I've switched to snap traps. Easier to deal with & prevents this kind of issue.
