Even stuff like the story felt rushed at times. Some characters we barely get to know before they're killed off. The gameplay was fine overall but it could definitely used tuning. I appreciate that they put more emphasis on hand-to-hand combat over gunplay unlike most games, but the gunplay here is pretty bad, which is probably why they made it rare that you come across one (which is a smart decision). The melee have more depth than GTA but it doesn't feel very fluid and all you really need is one or two moves (the flying kick) to cheese your way through the rest of the game. And the driving feels weird. None of this are bad enough to turn my off from the game. They all came together to make a fine enough experience that hooked me in from to beginning to end.
