it's been awhile since I talked about it. but one of my favorite fan theories is the Zero cataclysm Theory. Or whatever it is called. It's the one where Zero ended up being Wily's greatest and most dangerpus creation, and goes on to kill every robot from the classic series including Mega Man. Along with most of the humans, most likely.

I know it's been deconfirmed, and it ends such a bright and cheery time on such a dark, low note. But I honestly think it's much more interesting then... the complete lack of an explanation we have been given. We had all that foreshadowing about Zero from the arcade games, and elsewhere...only to get...no official payoff whatsoever.

I think all the signs point to it happening regardless of the deconfirmation and Keiji Inafune probably didn't have the guts to go through with his original vision. Or he wanted the fans to figure out things for themselves.

Plus it just seems really cool to me, in a morbid kind of way! We know zero started out with that virus. We know he was a crazy murderbot. I just choose to follow the trail of robot blood to its intended conclusion. Wily finally found his victory, in the end. But it cost him his life in the process.

I generally don't like fan theories, they're wrong most of the time and I see them too often. I wanna say they're harmless but one of my friends likes to talk about theories and that fucking juuUUUUuusSt aaA thhHEEOOrryY channel.
