Depends on where you live.
I'm 6'3 and I'm not even that tall for my area. Average is like 6'1.

For example, in my highschool class there was 10 of us.
Only one guy was below 6', I was the fourth tallest with 6'3. Nobody was above 6'4, though. So average class in general.

Wherever I go, I'm always amused at how short people actually are in the rest of the world.

I prefer to say "below average height". I still tower over almost every girl and some guys, not all. Seldom do I feel short when I'm out in public.

Ah, idk how to classify it in English.
6 seperate groups of 25-30 students in senior highschool year. 160-170 total, iirc.
We all had the same classes, teachers, etc, just separated so it's easier for the teachers.

10 was referring to number of guys. I'm didn't include girls in the height discussion. <.<
29 of us total in my idk how to translate it, lol. Call it a group.

short - 5'10" or less
medium - 5'11"-6'2"
Tall - 6'3" or above

but I'm 6'6" so my view is skewed.

so medium would be there

5'8 and below = short
between 5'8 and 6' = medium
6'+ = tall

Scandinavian and Dutch people are only comparable ones, height wise.

I'm like 6'34 converted into feet and inches. The average height here is 6 feet. I would say I'm tall, but not freakishly so. I would say anyone 5'7 or below is short.

5'2" & below: Huh...? I can't even see y--OH, there you are! Sorry, didn't mean to almost step on ya.

5'3"-5'6": You're straight-up short. Think Kevin Hart, Vegeta, etc.

5'7"-5'8": Almost at the low end of average. Basically, you're tall for a short guy.

5'9": low-end average.

5'10": Average.

5'11": high-end average.

6'0": Bare minimum for tall.

6'1"-6'2": Straight-up tall.

6'3" & above: DAMN, dude. Quit growing!

It's funny how people think average is always more skewed toward the side they tend to prefer.

IIRC, we vastly overestimate our average heights. The US is particularly bad for this.

Yeah. 5'8" is more-so on the short side as opposed to being straight-up short. At best, I'd say it's the VERY low-end of average.
