This has kinda always been the case but at least when he talked about music or art and design or racism or something in the past it came off as him having interesting things to say but not being very good at putting them into words. With this recent shit it's neither.

I wouldn't say that's the case at all when Kanye talks about music, art, fashion, shit or even business because look at the Yeezy Brand right now. He's very knowledgeable on those subjects, and I love to hear him talk about those things. I also still stand by that Kanye is a very smart guy on shit that he actually knows stuff about, but he knows nothing about politics and history which is why he sounds like an idiot when he talks about that stuff.

I guess there's varying degrees of it. Like on the yeezus rollout he def said a lot of insightful stuff on all of those topics but messed up the delivery more than a few times and got clowned on, unfairly I would say, in a lot of circles.

It's not like I'm saying he has always said extremely dumb shit. Just that I think he speaks off the cuff a lot and ends up phrasing something like 90% as good as he could potentially phrase it if he thought about a sec more.

Yeah I totally agree with this though. As I said I have really enjoyed some of dudes previous points in various things, just he's making a meal out of the political stuff lately.
