I saw it last week and it still wasn't good back then

He hasn't really done anything entertaining or relevant in years. All of his new content is pretty forced and awkward.

Tomb Raider controls being more complicated than necessary is good. The things she's doing SHOULD be hard to pull off.

I really like AVGN (Even the new stuff that people claim to hate) and I really Like Tomb Raider

But I kinda don't want to watch it as I bet he will ignore everything about it that sucks because he keeps running off cliffs and complaining about that despite that being him fucking up... Like a lot of people do.

it wasn't bad. He didn't do what I feared he would do.

Lots of people who back to the PS1 games run off cliffs or run into spikes like idiots and then blame the game. And it's like "all the problems these games have and you're mad that YOU fucked up something basic like don't run off a cliff?"

Thats really dumb. It's not like a fighting game where effective combos are difficult to pull off. There's no reason controls in an action adventure game should be cumbersome.

Just running up and pressing a button doesn't feel satisfying. If you're climbing a mountain in a game, it should be more than just holding up.

Being satisfying and being frustrating are two different things. It's satisfying to run around and do trick jumps or whatever in Super Mario Odyssey because the controls are smooth. If it takes a half hour or whatever to make a jump just because the controls are terrible then it's frustrating.

But the controls are just fine once you're used to them and don't have to think about it. It's just that it takes a while so if people aren't willing to take the time to get used to it and just turn it off and play something else then they must not really want to play it.

I haven't played the original TR games in a long time but they weren't that hard to control were they? Everything worked like it was on a grid similar to the old Prince of Persia games IIRC. Which meant that you had to be incredibly precise and it expected a lot from the player. I don't remember it being complicated though.

That's the original 3 though. No idea about 4-6.

I used to love James but if I saw him today I'd honestly try to kill him just to put him out of his misery. He's like an old sick dog that you can't stand to see hurt any longer. He hates being the nerd but that's all he's got and he has to keep playing the character to maintain a living. His movie, the one chance of him following his dream of being a real film maker, was a completely embarrassing disaster. He has a broken baby, his bitch wife walks all over him and the fact she's cuckolding him is all but confirmed. He's balding. I think he'd kill himself if not for the baby, but with his wife's reputation I doubt it's even his in the first place. I'd just tell him I'm sorry and put a bullet in the back of his head.

I liked him when he was new, Friday the 13th being my favorite review but I can't watch him today it's an old shitck that so many people did after him. I'd rather watch just a normal review. I was also not a fan of tomb raider, when ps2 was out and prince of Persia was done on it, it blew everything tomb raider did out of the water. There was also a good Indiana Jones game on ps2, miss those days.

You don't get to just rewind it when you fuck up in Tomb Raider.

Though you sometimes wish you could as you watch yourself do a perfect swan dive onto the concrete.

AVGN is the most consistent content maker. Nobody's been doing this as long as he has been and as consistently good. Tbh, the only time he was ever bad was around the time he was doing the movie because the episodes slowed down heavily and were basic. The movie was also not his best work.

But his Board James stuff, most of his recent eps, pretty much every vid of him just talking about movies with a black background have all been better than most media being released today. Sucks some people here can claim to not being able to watch his recent vids and still bash it at the same time.

Anyways, I have 0 background with the Tomb Raider games aside from the movies lol. But the reviews were pretty hilarious
