Basically have it all done, but this horse race is fucking ridiculous. Like, the fuck.... I must have to stay on the inside against the fence the entire time, but the whole "approach straight on" is whack.

Anyone have any tips? I'm thirsty for this 100%

The horse race is pretty easy, but you're better of staying on the outside. The trick is to just stay in front of Ingo, if you get in the right spot he'll just push you along in front of him and you can save your bursts.

I know it's counter-intuitive but it's not like racing on a big track. The track is like two horses wide so hugging the inside doesn't really give much of an advantage

You mean at lon lon ranch? Its more of learning how to space out and when best to use the carrots more than sticking as close to the fence as you can.

If its the race against the running man which I'm assuming isn't the case since their is little fence you'd come across, but just in case iirc you can't beat him

I never thought the race was difficult at all. The only real trick is to not use all the carrots because then it takes longer to regen. Always keep at least one carrot so that it regens faster. Also, always use a carrot right before trying to jump a big fence or you won't jump. You don't need a carrot for the small fences. So really you just need to micromanage your carrots, and that's all there is to it. I never thought it was difficult or had any trouble with it.

Oh, I'm talking about the timed race that Malon starts when you're an adult, after you wake Talon. If you can beat her time she'll deliver a cow to your house!

Yeah, I've been saving carrots but it's good to know i don't technically need them for the small fences. I'll just keep at it.

I think what I did (its been awhile) is start off and use all but two carrots. Then anytime one regenerated use it right away. Just kept two in case a big fence caught me at a bad time I'd still have one carrot left instead of using my last

Yes, and I always wondered how they got the cow up the ladder to Link's house....

I beat it (: Not boosting before the small fences helped. And making sure I used a carrot right before a big jump helped me clear it. Thanks gaiz <3
