Dbza and hellsing ultimate are fantastic fan edits, worthy of syndication But other abridged series by other people are just....cringey failures. Yugioh and 7deadly sins are just Fucking awful, whos idea of comedy is dog whistle voices, handicapped shrieking and prepubescent amounts of emphasized profanity. I think they became garbage when they got popular, they started going for quantity > quality. And it astounds me how many people think their versions are better than the originals...

I disagree, yugioh abridge is still pretty consistent when it comes to being funny. Though I will admit there are times when he over edits on some of his episodes. The episodes are at his best when he makes fun of how stupid the plot is and the characters. When he starts trying to force pop culture references, thats when I think it starts to fall apart.
