I thought it was lame, tbh. It was nice as a finale, but I dont think it stood out in the grand scheme of things.

I dunno, after all this time, I expected something... more. They needed more time to deal with the Golb stuff, and I wanted Betty to have more of a focus overall. But its whatever.

I just think the finale couldve been so much better, and now itll never be, because its over.

It was okay. I gave up on the idea of the show having a great long-term story arc several seasons ago, so I wasn't expecting anything big. Overall the show was fun and delivered some incredible individual episodes, but I'm never going to rewatch the entire thing.

Theres a (small) plot hole in the finale too.

So the night before the war, Marci and PB have their talk, where Marci expresses her concern over taking part in a war that could potentially destroy the world, and we see a really brief flashback of Marci as a kid with her stuffed animal, silhouetted against a backdrop of a city burning (I LOVED this part, and I dont know why. Maybe I just love apocalypses)

BUT Marci didnt get her stuffed animal until after she met Simon, which was after the war wiped out most of the life on the planet. So Marci couldnt have had her toy while everyone else was dying due to war/radiation around her.

I still really want a gif of that flashback clip though. The finale mightve been weaker than it shouldve been, but the scene they showed was just... powerful.
