I'm a petite (5'0", 90-ish lbs) teenage female, and I've been a vegetarian for more than half of my life.

However, I've made the decision to go pescetarian, and I wanted to start with something from Captain D's.

I do eat a lot of fatty foods. I get a large order of McDonald's fries twice a week, love pasta and rice, and eat faux chicken frequently.

I really want to start with a 2 piece battered fish meal, with coleslaw, but I'm afraid it will make me sick.

I've been thinking about the best ways to start without making myself sick, and I'd like some input.

Pescitarians still don't eat chicken. Only meat you're allowed is fish.

lol j/k fuck the labels, just do what you feel okay with. I'd start small though (a single nugget or something) to test the waters - your body might not respond well to it. I was pescitarian half my life and vegetarian the other half, and these days while I'm fine if I accidentally eat fish, my body reacts very badly if I accidentally eat any other meat.

You haven't been vegetarian for half your life. The oil contains animal byproducts.

Yeah, and I also eat jell-o. What I truly mean is, I haven't eaten MEAT!!! for half of my life.

It's not that I care about animals, it's just that I think the concept of meat is gross. For some reason, fish doesn't gross me out anymore, however.

Fish are the least intelligent of the common meat animals- and also killed in the most humane way (since they are not kept in a slaughterhouse, but rather killed directly when they are fished out of the water).
