Good guys meet bad guy. 1 minute of exposition about how bad guy is guy they met before. 5 minute flashback sequence about their past meeting. 1 minute of exposition where bad guy says something in reference to something they talked about before. 5 minute flashback sequence about their past conversation. 1 minute of prep for the fight about to start between good guys and bad guy. If you skip the filler, the pacing isn't so bad.
