I graduated in 2016 so it's still somewhat fresh in my mind. I went to one of the worst schools in my area. Fights happened every day. People had sex in the bathrooms. Teachers were punched. School shooting threats and bomb threats happened more often than not. Some kid was taped to a light pole and had a pencil shoved up his behind and the school quietly covered it up because it was football players who did it. You get the picture. I can say that it's very rare for someone to be jumped by 20 guys. It's usually one on one with a bunch of people watching. The worse I've seen was 4-5 guys pulling a kid out of a moving vehicle and beating him senseless. I'm not saying this cannot happen because I remember a time when around a dozen or so kids pushed me off my bike and told me that they would sodomized me if I didn't run. Luckily, adults witnessed it so nothing happened. Still, something may started this. The kid didn't deserve this. Nobody deserves to be bullied but there may be more to this story than what we are getting. 20 guys is a lot and getting all 20 to agree to jumping some dude is a difficult task. I know that people on here like to meme about how Floridians are crazy but that's only half true. Florida people can be pretty nice and chill. The panhandle is super chill considering there's jack shit to do there. I hope more info is released. I would like to know whether this was a freak mobbing incident or if this kid had issues with a lot of people for whatever dumb reasons high schoolers tend to hate each other over.
