I bought Street Fighter V Arcade Edition today, and between system updates and the game updating and needing to download content and then my PS4 needing to restart at some point, I eventually just gave up after like 40 minutes and decided I'd try again tomorrow.

Turned my Switch on and literally 6 seconds later I was playing Kirby lol. They really should play up how snappy the OS is more. You get spoiled without realizing it.

No joke. Everytime i turn on my ps4 i need to download a new update. Frustrating as f***. Then I try to "play without updating application" and then it says "in order to play you need to have the latest application." aarrrrrgh!

It really is fast. Console systems are just out dated tech. The game libraries are boring and it takes forever to update. You have to constantly update and heaven forbid your internet connection goes out for a minute.

Same with digital downloads. I know its bigger files and stuff, but two or three hours for a download is not acceptable.

I think peoples PlayStations and xboxes are collecting dust because theyre a chore to play. When I buy a new game, I want to play it immediately. I dont want to have to update the system and then install the game and then download and install the patch that you have to have.

You want to unwind and you end up stressed out and impatient while you see the screen frozen at 32%. Funny how my internet speed works great for anything else, including my Switch...

Loading times and how slow everything was generally on PS3 is what pushed me to say goodbye to consoles for good and go PC (and nintendo) exclusive
